Program Review: Traffic Zipper

For the last several years, we have been seeing a lot of "list builder" type programs hit the net. Programs like ListJoe, TheListAuction, DownlineBuilderDirect, List-Twister, ListBandit, ListDotCom, ListJumper, ListQuik, MyViralSurfer, TheListAuction, ViralAdsDepot, ViralAdStore, ViralAdsUnleashed, ViralUrl ...

I use these lists regularly and when I do, it's a process to send my ads to each list. While it does not take hours to do, it does take a good hour!

Until now that is!

Michael Purvis, the genious behind TheListAuction has release a program that takes all the pain away.

So how does it work? Simple ... I'll include detailed setup instructions right here.

1. Join Traffic Zipper

Of course, the first thing you need to do is join Traffic Zipper! It is free to join

Once you are registered and your account confirmed, you want to Login to your Traffic Zipper members' area and take a few moments to watch the Quick Start Video. The video is on the main page when you login.

2. Setup your system

Once logged in to Traffic Zipper, you will now need to spend some time and setup your system. This may take you awhile, so do plan to set aside some time to setup your Traffic Zipper account. It's in setting up your system that you will save countless hours every month!

a. Click on My Account- My Profile

Make sure your account information is correct and you list your payment information. Traffic Zipper will pay commissions to your Paypal or AlertPay account. All you need to do is enter your Paypal or AlertPay email address and select which method of payment you prefer. Simple check the box beside Paypal or Alertpay.

b. Setup My List Builders

Next, you are going to setup your ListBuilders and this is where it may take a bit of time. The first thing we are going to do is to define our list builders. This is REALLY COOL! Most programs that have a downline builder aspect simply include all the programs for your downline to view.

With Traffic Zipper, you can choose to list only those programs that you already belong to. The programs you have not joined will not be "active" for your ads to be sent.

By activating your list builders, you are setting the system up to be able to send your ads to the resources through Traffic Zipper. This will make more sense once we get to the advertising steps.

Ok, so let's start by checking the boxes of the List Builders you want to include in you mailing (be sure to check only the list builders that you are a member of as you will need to enter your login information and affiliate information for the system of each program - this is what will take time).

If you wish to join any of the programs listed, simply click on the link to join, then once you register and complete your setup in that program, come back here to check that progam as active.

Once you select the lists you are a member of, click on SAVE at the bottom of the page.

c. Manage My List Builder Details

In this section, you will see all the List Builders that you check in the section above. Any lists you did not join or you are not a member of, will not be displayed here.

Some things you need to know before starting:

Each program asks for a username, password and program ID. Quite often, your program ID is different from your login username. The system needs both. The username and password allow the system to login to your program to send an ad. The program ID allows new members to join under you through the Traffic Zipper program directly! (Another time saver).

Example, for ViralAdStore, my username is sykaro but my program ID is 22971. The 22971 is the ID that connects to my ViralAdStore affiliate site. If this is unclear to you, please contact me before proceeding as this information must be correct for the system to work for you.

When you have completed entering all your usernames, passwords and program IDs for your programs, you want to click SAVE at the bottom of the page. This will save all your ids.

REPEAT: You MUST Click SAVE to save your details in the system.

d. Setting up the Remote Downline Builder

Still in the My List Builders section, you will see a drop down menu called Remote Downline Buider. This is a section designed to help you build a downline in several traffic resources.

Like all programs, there is no requirement for you to join any of the programs. I recommend you simply enter your program IDS for each program that you are already a member of.

CAUTION: There are a LOT of programs on this list ... and I mean a LOT ... do not let this section intimidate you ... simply enter the program ids of the programs you already belong to.

If you are brand new to Internet Marketing, please join programs one at a time ... set them up, then enter your ids as you do this. Do NOT join all the programs at once ok?

e. Setting up your Rotators

This is a really fun part because this is where you can setup a rotator for your main programs. Click on Rotators, then setup your Site and Banner rotations. If you do not have multiple sites or banners, you can skip this section.

Follow the intructions on the page to add your links and banners.

f. Time to Send Mail

This is what the program is all about ... sending your mail to all your lists with the click of a button! Setup may take some time, but consider the time you will save sending your ads!

Click on Send Mail

You will be presented with a video you can watch to show you how to use the Send Mail feature. You will also be presented with a link to Check Mail Status On All Hosts

What this does is the system will go and check all your list programs and let you know which are eligible for sending mail.

Once the system lists your programs, you can check the ones you want to send to. The system will tell you which lists can be sent to and if it's not ready yet the system will tell you WHEN you can send.

Seriously, this is just SO NEAT and a great time saver.

Once you select which lists to send to, you simply enter your ad just as you would if you entered each program individually.

To send your ad, you need to put your link you will be promoting (this is for the credit based lists), your Subject and the Body of your email.

Here is the ad I sent:

Program Review: Prosperity Rising

It's not every day that I am surprised by what I find, and after some poking and digging around .. that's exactly what happened ... I was excitedly surprised by the little Gold mine I found at Prosperity Rising.

As you know, I am very closely involved in the launch of GVO, Global Virtual Opportunities (I offer a live training call at GVO Academy every Thursday at noon). Through my involvement with the leaders at GVO, I happened across Keith Carberry and Peter Marshall's Prosperity Rising program.

I am always looking at viral tools to help my list builders do more than build their lists and I was very excited when I arrived inside the members area at Prosperity Rising.

Once registered, login to the members' back office and follow these few simple steps. It will take you a bit of time to get setup ... take the time to do it as this will make the system work seemlessly for you.

Step One - Editing Your Profile

Onced logged in to your Prosperity Rising Member's area, you need to click on Profile and setup your Paypal email address and your ClickBank ID. These are important so that you can get paid.

Step Two - The Dowline Builder

Prosperity Rising has partnered with some of the best program owners to offer the best in traffic generators and advertising resources to help you. From the top menu, click on Downline Builder. You will find the following programs listed:

• Dragon Surfer

• The Widgeteers

Do not get hung up and distracted inside these programs. If you are not a member, you will join under your sponsor and enter your ID in Prosperity Rising. It's important that you do not get distracted inside these other programs.

I can't stress that enough!

Signup, Grab your ID or username and enter it into the Downline Builder section of Prosperity Rising and then you are ready to setup your first PR link and start using the Viral aspect of the system.

Step Three - Setting up your marketing Links.

This is the fun and profitable part of Prosperity Rising, you see, when you setup and use the PR links to advertise your own website, you are promoting Prosperity Rising at the same time.

So let's setup your first link.

I'm going to show you how to set up a PR link to promote your GVO website. I have one setup to promote my http://gvoprofits.com/janetlegere/video

1. Click on Links

Scroll down to Link Generator (we'll come back and discuss purchasing extra traffic).

You'll see an area that looks like this:

Enter a target website address

This is the web address of the website you want visitors to visit. To send people to my GVO website, I entered http://gvoprofit.com/janetlegere/video

You will put the entire web address, including http:// of the website you want to promote.

Enter a short description for the website (visitors will NOT see it)

This is purely for your convenience to be able to recognize which links are setup. For my GVO website, I put a description GVO Video.

What categories of ads do you want the generated link to deliver?
Choose all the categories that apply.

Use the CTRL key to choose multiple Categories.

My finished Link campaign looks like this:


Once you setup your links, you will find the details at the bottom of the page. This is where you can see the hits to your website.


You can see my campaign called "GVO Video" with 1 hit. You'll also notice a link I created for the Blog post you are visiting! I will post an updated snapshot after I send out this blog article. It will be interesting to watch the system work!

Now that your link is setup, you are ready to use the PR link in your advertising and promotions. Everytime someone clicks your PR link to visit your website, you will earn credits to be used throughout the PR system.

Yes ... that's right ... earning credits is a great way to build traffic.

Step Four - Setting Up Your Ads

As you earn credits in the system, or if you purchase credits, your credits will be used to send visitors to your Ad! Another Viral aspect of Prosperity Rising.

Setup your ad to direct readers to your Business or prospecting website. You can advertise your GVO link, New Rich Report link, Earth Friendly Biz link or even your Prosperity Rising Link (to sponsor PR members and earn more credits).

That's all you need to get you setup and maximizing this great new tool!

Remember ... the best way to take advantage of Prosperity Rising is to take the time to setup the system, then use the Viral links to advertise YOUR programs.

2. Setup the NOK Ad Rotator

Throughout the List Volta system, you can advertise your text ad and or banner ad. You will earn NOK credits by reading other member's ads and clicking other banners. Your credits can be used to submit your own text or banner ad.

To setup your NOK Ad, click on NOK Ad Rotator System.

Click on Ad New Campaign.

Select either Text or Banner ad.

3. Earning NOK Credits

It's easy to earn NOK Credits ~ as you earn credits you can use them to get traffic to your NOK ads!!

a. Click on sponsor ads in the members area
b. Read recent member ads
c. Contact new friends on Group Volta

4. Group Volta - the List Volta Social Network

Last but certainly not least, we talk about Group Volta. Much like other Social Networks, you can visit other member's profiles and add members to your own personal list in List Volta.

What's unique about this Social network is that you will earn credits for performing activities you do already!

From your ListVolta members area, click on the Group Volta icon. Near the top in the middle, you will see a link to Edit Group Volta profile.

Please spend some time here filling in the appropriate information. Visit my profile http://listvolta.com/groupvolta/sykaro and spend some time visiting other member profiles so you can set yours up to create your own brand.

Once your profile is setup, you can schedule time each day to submit your ads, click other member ads and add new friends on Group Volta. Remember, the more credits you earn, the more traffic you will create.

New Advertising Resources Bring Results

Advertising your website is one of the most important activities that you need to be doing on a regular basis.

This is something we MUST do on a regular basis .. Advertise in order to make contacts and sales!

It's also important that you are continually adding new resources to your advertising "portfolio" so that you are always putting your offer in front of new eyes.

With that in mind, my post today is about two new advertising resources that just arrived on the scene.

The first is a new program from the owners of Herculist. Herculist is one of those long term resources that I use everyday ... and I can tell you that Herculist members do read emails and do respond. I've sponsored many members of Herculist into my business over the years.

The new resource is really quite unique ... and familiar at the same time. List Volta ... a credit based list and social network.

Through the system, you can earn NOKs ... Credits for reading other opportunity ads ... it's really quite brilliant as it creates an active membership.
