Are you building your list?
Janet Legere here, checking in on this beautiful Friday morning - the sun is shining brightly here in Calgary and it's a Great Day!
Don and I have been travelling a lot lately, both business and pleasure ... seems we hardly touch down at home anymore ... we love this business!
Our success is due to the fact that we have a large contact list to draw from, in fact, you are on my list and receiving this email.
So I got to thinking ... are you working to build your list?
I know many people email me on a daily basis asking me about my secrets to success and I have to be honest and tell them that there are no secrets.
The key to Internet Marketing success is focuson building a list.
You need prospects for your business and they are not going to appear out of thin air.
At the Contact List Builder, I teach my readers how to use different online methods to attract prospects and build an active list.
Have you read any of my material and used my methods?
They really do work.
One of my favourite tactics to adding new people to my list is to send an invitation to safelists for members to join my personal contact list.
I also use safelists to invite readers to my instant messenger list ... this way we can have a conversation and talk business.
Success in you business relies on finding people for your business, I know you will agree.
So what methods are you using to attract people to your list?
Do you use safelists?
Do you have leadcapture pages up on Traffic Exchanges?
I'm curious to know what you are doing online.
If your business isn't growing, consider changing your focus from advertising your business to advertising for new contacts (prospects).
Here is a very simple email ad that you can send to all your online lists:

Hi Janet,
Thankyou for the safelist resources. The free report can have an amazing viral effect especially with rebranding and giveaway rights...definitely another great way to increase your list. Of course...Nothing beats ACTION!

Hi Janet,
Couldn't agree more. It's a simple tactic and it always works. Seems like a lot of folks want to be successful with email marketing; but, are unwilling to do the work. I see see it everyday at my safelist. I have a simple tips section with basic advice to make an offer more effective; yet, few visit the page. Keep up the good work.

SafeLists
Safelists?
Come on Janet, the only thing I've ever gotten from safelists is 1000's of emails hawking their products, virus-laden trash emails, NOT ONE lead or list member ever.
As far as traffic exchanges, even those run by the big GooRoos:
not 1 hit to my sites, and I've even had the BIGGEST GooRoo steal 25000 ad credits from me. The only people benefitted by traffic exchanges are the peop[le running them....they get all the members on THEIR list- everyone else gets little benefit...
How do you REALLY build your lists?
How do I REALLY build my list? I build it exactly as I teach.
I suspect the reason it didn't work for you was the ad you were using, not the list.
Safelists and Traffic Exchanges DO work if and ONLY if you learn to work them.
I only share what works and here I shared the exact methods I use.
Success is open to anyone who will grab on to it!
Happy marketing,
Janet
Janet,
3 responses already since sending out your recommended safelist message 3 hours ago. What do we do when we have them on our list? What do you send them after the free contact list building report? How do you respond when they offer their "business" opportunity in response. Thanks!
Hi Janet
I like your idea with the Safelists. In the past I never had any success with Safelists but I can see how this idea might work. I'm going to give it a try. I will let you know what happens.
Thanks

Hi Bob,
Great to see your success.
Now it's time to build a relationship with the people on your list.
Write to them and ask for their phone number so you can call them.
Write to them and ask them what they are currently involved in.
I'd avoid sending your business opportunity right away, rather offer them some tips and techniques they can use and begin to build that important rapport.
Hope that helps,
Janet Legere
Hey really your tips are quite interesting.
you know...
How I am going to add 5000 new subscribers to my list...
I am invited to participate in a brand new PLR Giveaway JV that could possibly add 5K to 10K (or more) subscribers to my lists within a few short days. I am sure this works because I have seen many GURU marketers use this technique to build their lists to astronomical sizes.
PLR Giveaways can work if you are experienced at Advertising and have a list of people to advertise to :-)
It all depends on your experience and the resources available to you.
Happy Marketing,
Janet Legere
