Statistics Matter

Do you check your statistics regularly?
Do you know what that means?

Statistics are something that are very important and I'll show you why.

I'm a bit of a statistical nut ... if you are into the personality colours, you'd say that was the green in me and you'd be very right. Statistics come easy to me especially with my background in Accounting.

I love math but I know not everyone does and not everyone understands statistics.

With September newly behind us, I decided it was time to see what kind of results we are seeing with our new EarthFriendlyBiz (EFB) prospecting system.

Our EFB program originally aired (came online) back in October of 2007. It worked very well and in July of 2008, we decided it was time to take EFB to the next level and we released the new and improved EarthFriendlyBiz on August 15, 2008.

With September being our first full month, I decided it would be a good time to check the statistics. Before I share my results, let me explain how EFB works.

• In Step One, visitors fill out the form to learn more information about our simple 3 step system. New prospects are added to your "list" maintained within the EFB system. They will begin to receive our system generated emails.
  
• In Step Two, visitors learn about the 3 programs that we use in marketing our business (these are GDI, List Joe and Free Traffic Bar)
• In Step Three, visitors register to receive their own EFB system to develop prospects. New members are added to your "list" maintained within the EFB system.
• When Step 3 is completed, new members are introduced to your primary business and directed to follow a simple system to setup and advertise their EFB link. They will also begin to receive our system generated emails.
  

Below are the results from one month of advertising my EarthFriendlyBiz link to the resources you will be taught to use, in other words, one month of doing what you will be doing - we call this simple duplication.

Period covered: September 1 - 30, 2008

Step One:

• New EFB Prospects 506

Step Two:

• New GDI Members 7 (1.4%)
  
• New ListJoe Members 56 (11%) - 8 members upgraded (14%)
• New FreeTrafficBar Members 60 (11.8%) - 17 members upgraded (28%)
  

Step Three:

• New EFB Members 102 (20%)

Primary Business:

• 5 New Business Builders (4.9% of new EFB Members)
  

Overall, I'd say it was a pretty good month, wouldn't you? And the best part of this is that y0u can easily duplicate these numbers.

If you advertise regularly (there are many resources available online and we show you how to do it), and generate traffic to your EarthFriendlyBiz website you can expect to see the same "percentage of results".

To keep it simple, let's say you generate 100 new prospects through advertising your EFB website. With 100 new prospects, you can expect:

• 1 new GDI member (1%)
• 11 new List Joe members (11%) and 2 upgrades (14%)
• 12 new Free Traffic Bar Members (11.8%) and 3 upgrades (28%)
• 20 new EFB members (20%)
• 1 new member in your primary business (4.9%)

I hope that makes sense. Can you see how simple it can be to duplicate this process? Imagine when your 20 new EFB members begin advertising and generating 100 new prospects a month? That's 20 times the effort of you alone!
