What's Your Hot Button?

As you venture into the world of the Network Marketer and you perfect your sales script, have you considered what YOUR hot button is or are you still out there trying to figure out your prospects hot button, like I used to?

There is one thing I accepted long ago, I will be continually learning and this week, I learned a valuable lesson that is already turning our entire business around.

The lesson I learned is all about working with and attracting the right people. I learned a few key skills that totally opened my eyes and I have Kim Klaver to thank for it!

Here is a brief summary of what I learned.

How do you find the right people to work with to build your Network Marketing business?

Well, you start by first recognizing your own HOT button. What is it that brought you into your business? Why did you choose Company A over Company B? What is it that gets you all excited about your company or its products?

When you know your hot button, you can then attract others with the same hot button. When you attract others with the same hot button, you will find the right people to work with and when you work with the right people, you begin to see some phenomenal growth in your business.

In my case, I market products for people who want to go green and make money at the same time, just like me.

Do you know anyone like that?

It's my hot button ... helping others help our planet while helping them make money at the same time. I call it, Doing Well by Doing good.

How about you, what is your hot button? Use the comments section below to share your hot buttons with us.

And if your hot button matches mine or you know someone just like me, please contact me personally and we can discuss the next step.

Have a powerful day!

It doesn't matter if it's a product or a service my hot button is it has to make sense to me. If I think it should be a viable plan I will take a much closer look.

Hi Janet,

I just love the hot button concept. Like you said - you can attract like minded people, with the same interests, or hot button, you have.

I market products for parents who want their children to grow up in a safe, toxin free environment. Do you know anyone like that?

That is my hot button!

Evening Jan.,

The hot button is a GREAT idea. This takes away being a sales person (which I have never liked doing).

I market products that help people live healthier lives in a non-toxic environment. Do you know anyone like that?

Hats off to you Janet,

I must say, this post has really hit home for me. The environment is important to me, and I want to work with people that are on the "same page" with me.

My hot button is for families to live in a clean, healthy environment, like I do. That is why I chose the business I am in.

I never thought of it as a hot button before, only a passion. But, again you have hit a "home run" with this concept.

You are the greatest!

Diane

Without a doubt, my hot buttons are honesty and integrity.

There will certainly be times that people purchase a product from me when they really can't afford it or don't actually need it. As long as the information that I have provided is straight forward and not a misrepresentation of the result of utilizing the product, I'm ok ... they made an informed decision and it was their choice.

I represent Leisure Audio Books. I am still a fledgling, but baby steps are being made. I prefer a quality physical product because the user immediately acquires all of the benefits that I pitched on
my sales page.

On the other hand, informational products demand that the user actively launch the product as recommended and conscientiously follow up. This quite often does not happen; hence, the high rate of failure among prospective internet marketers.

So bottom line, I prefer physical products that I truly believe in, but as long as I am fulfilling my obligation for full disclosure, I certainly will market informational products.

Looking for a quality product to market? :)

Greetings Janet,

I also was driven to my current Co. by a Hot button .
My hot button was being a part of a Co. that will raise 1 billion for charity asap.

My button was; As long as I am driven to achieve, I cannot think of any other co. that will allow me to live my life with such fulfilling purpose . I felt like my purpose found me, it was an answer to a life long prayer.

Your such an inspiration.

Hi Janet,

I totally agree with your hot-button theories. I remember when I joined my primary business opportunity. When I heard about it I was like:

"Wow, Web 2.0 in the flesh right here. Where do I sign up?"

I look for other marketers who understand the video marketing concept and want to brand themselves and stand out from the crowd.

It seems like they either "get it" right away or they don't and that's ok because the people who are thinking like you are the people who will stay in your organization and help build your business.

A hot button is important but I became burned out on selling products. Selling to the consumer is not something I wish to give up but rather my group is focusing on businesses. Janet woke me a little by the term of hot button as to make me think what made me purchase marketing when we owned a restaurant. My only hot button was using marketing I was aware of, Val Pak, Yellow Pages, and Internet pay for click programs. So, if you do not have a name, how can one sell? There was only one company we stuck with that worked for us and I learned from them. They have statistics to prove their success rate. Attempting to conclude my post, I convinced my group to stear away from selling products and focus on selling professional services. I would rather sell a sservice to a company that I know is going to spend the money rather than sell to an individual in today's economy who in reality does not have the money to spend.
